A few weeks ago we had a couple of days of proper snow - the sort that got most of us sent home from work in fear that the creaking rail systems would shut down.
The girls (esp. Natasha) thought this was fantastic, as they had commented around Christmas that they wished it would snow...

Do you realise Wellington (actually the whole of the North Island!) is officially in drought ? No outside water use allowed - not even a watering can!
