View from the trenches

Apparently "epidurals are great!" according to Alix. To be honest, if I was in her position (20-odd hours into a 40-hour labour), I'd say exactly the same thing. But with more profanity.

On the other hand, I wish I had a voice recorder so I could have on record some of the crazy stuff that came out of Alix's mouth while high as a kite on Entonox. Except she'd probably beat me to death with it.

Anyway - enough feeble humour - the main event:
